Aaron Rodgers is getting killed by everyone in the media. The Green Bay Packers QB said he'd been vaxxed when he hadn't and since then he has tested positive for Covid. Sadly, he has a 99.8% of surviving this sickness. The headlines are reading, 'He's A Liar'. God forbid they say this about Joe Biden especially and politicians in general.
I want to defend Rodgers because of one statistic. In the entire world in the last two years the number of professional athletes who have died of Covid is---------------zero. On the other hand three pro athletes have died as the result of being vaccinated.
There have been 21 middle of the night air flights into Florida carrying thousand of illegal immigrants. Nobody knows where they end up across the US. To date the number of these criminals is 500,000. Add onto this 700,000 of people who have crossed the border. I find it interesting that not very many people care. I'm sure there would be more of an outcry if they moved in next door. Thank goodness no cartel members are included in this group along with MS-13 dudes. Maybe, if we're lucky, there'll be much more fentanyl to be distributed among the populace. Did you know in 2020 there were 60,000 opioid deaths? This year we're already at 96,000. There will be some very sad Christmas's this year.
You probably read about eight people getting crushed to death at a music concert in Houston. It's happened before but people have short memories. On December 3, 1979 another tragedy took place in Cincinnati at a Who concert. In that one eleven people lost their lives.
I don/'t know much about a guy named Kanye West. He might be a rapper and if memory serves he was married to one of the Kardashians. West was on television a couple days ago and made a statement that caused to to pause. The guy is a Trump supporter but along with his endorsement he said, "In 2020 if you counted all the Black people who died in this country one half of them were because of abortions. Flabbergasted is a word that comes to mind. It's one thing to say Blacks account for 67% of abortions but that doesn't give the real story. It makes me wonder why Democrats want abortions. They're missing out on a lot of future voters.
Hey, good things happen every day and today was one of those. In my adult life I've gone from a size thirty two pant to the circus tent size of 40. Last April I went on a self-imposed diet. Anyway, I'll be in a frigid Minnesota next week-end for a wedding. I say frigid because the high temps are supposed to be in the mid-thirties. Well, I was in my closet today and tried on a couple of sport coats I could not slide on last year if I used a bucket of oil. Today, they fit. So, that's a good deal. Getting fat is so very easy. When I was at my heaviest my wife found me crying and I was so fat the tears were running up my cheeks. I hate when that happens. One day I was shuffling across the street and an oncoming car slammed on it's brakes. I said, "Why don't you drive around me?" And the driver said, "I would have but I was afraid I'd run out of gas."
Regardless, I can now stand up, look down and see my shoes.
