I'm wondering when people age if their sleep patterns fluctuate. I've gone through periods in life when I awaken at 4 am and get my day started. For the last two months I'll hit the hay around 8:30 pm but only because my buddy, Charlie, starts barking. He's telling me he's tired so we have to go upstairs. I'll look at my smart phone until 11 and then shut it off. It's then that I'm wide awake and tell myself, "It's going to be a long night." That's it. Think I'll get another cup of coffee.
