Answer Me This, Mr. Riddler

You'll have to forgive me. I did not watch the Barnum & Bailey show on television last night. For me it's better to let the news speak for itself with tidbits of information. In listening to the Glenn Beck Show this morning the boys behind the mic's were laughing about one of Joey's comments that aroused Pelosi so much she rose to her feet with thunderous clapping and a big smile on her lips--------lips that seemed to be falling off her face.

And I quote: "One of the dangers for our soldiers in Afghanistan was breathing in toxic gases from burn pits."

Don't get me wrong. If I were to take a child and hold them over a burn pit this might not be good for either of us. But, when in the history of television has anyone ever talked about toxic burn pits? Did you ever hear Walter Cronkite or Dan Rather speak of these? Heck, I've never heard Rachel Maddow talk about them.

And now you know why I didn't watch the sideshow of the year.
