A promise from Joltin' Joe regarding taxes: "Anyone making less than $400 thousand a year will not see their taxes rise one cent." He was correct, actually. The rise in taxes will be a heck of a lot more than one penny.

I'm not delusional about campaign promises. I recall a guy who succeeded Reagan stating: "Read my lips. No new taxes." I hate these people.
