Did you know I'm a marked man? I'm in trouble with the government. Actually, I'm in double trouble but it's barely registered on the Richter Scale of oppression with the great portion of the American people. You see, I happen to be a practicing Roman Catholic. I'm what's called an old line Roman Catholic. There are times when I attend a Latin Mass.
The second reason I'm on the no-no list with our Justice Department is because I support Donald J. Trump.
Luckily, for me, I have yet to speak out against present education policies at school board meetings. Otherwise, I'd be a three time loser as a terrorist in the eyes of our Justice Department.
You see, I am what our present government calls a domestic terrorist. Can you imagine this happening in any other period in history. Actually, in American History I can't come up with an example yet but in world history I thought about the immediate aftermath of Germany defeating Poland in 1939. One of the first things Hitler and his cronies did was to force every Jew to wear the Star of David on their clothing while out in public. Do you suppose the regular Joe's of Krakow anticipated there would be an Auschwitz? Do you think the Jews, at the time, thought they would be herded into cattle cars and spirited away to camps constructed with ovens for burning the dead? I doubt it.
I don't wish to be a purveyor of doom and gloom on this fine Sunday but I would hope folks would study history.
I don't consider myself a domestic terrorist but the present government does and that scares me.
