My memory is fuzzy on this subject but I recall a one time drill at Sacred Heart in Boone in 1953. I wasn't afraid and was quite happy because the exercise took place during our arithmetic portion of school. I hated arithmetic and Sister Mary Baptiste put the fear of Beelzebub in us if we couldn't add or subtract.
