When Joey Boy took office, or shortly thereafter, he set aside $7.5 billion dollars for EV charging stations to blanket the landscape. It wasn't until a week ago that the first station opened. I'm only telling you about this because the one and only of these boondoggles is located a paltry fifteen minute drive from our home in Dublin, Ohio. For you Central Ohioans and/or world travelers who want to be in the know and a part of history Biden's gift to mankind is situated at the intersection of I-70 and Hwy 42. Go north for ten minutes and you'll be in Plain City. Drive ten miles east and you'll be on the outskirts of Columbus. Just for the heck of it you might want to motor on out to the location. It's at a Pilot Station. You could take a picture for posterity or relieve yourself on it. If you take the second choice be careful. I wouldn't want to see anyone electrocuted. It's your chance to see a real piece of Americana much like visiting Mt. Rushmore or Niagara Falls.
Anyway, one lousy, stinking EV station that will never be used in my lifetime for billions of dollars isn't a very good investment especially considering it takes 30 minutes to fully charge a car. The way I see it this time interval might create criminals galore. I can see it now. Percy Dovetails gets bored charging his car every four hours and he has a choice to fill the time by either reading the Bible or sucking down brewski's. I'm betting on the latter. https://pjmedia.com/vodkapundit/2023/12/15/build-it-at-great-taxpayer-expense-and-they-will-not-come-n4924764
