Personally, I could care less if a person is religious or a believer in God or the afterlife. I have a friend who says he's an atheist but he happens to be one of the kindest humanitarians I've ever had the privilege of knowing. Kindness toward others should be recognized for what it is.
Even so, I came across an article that dealt with a reporter interviewing Tony Fauci. Dr. Fauci, as we all know, is the highest salaried federal employee in our government garnering around $400 plus thousand dollars a year. He hob nobs with the rich and famous; guys like Bill Gates. The gist of the piece stated by Fauci was raised Catholic, went to Catholic schools, was married in the Catholic Church but somewhere along the way decided he doesn't need God in his life anymore. And not only that but he explains why he feels the way he does.
