If ISIS Attacks On July 4th

News reports and reporters are speculating ISIS might stage a Fourth of July attack. For the great unwashed, aka liberals, this day in American history is to celebrate our nations birth. It was on July 4, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed signifying we were now not a part of Great Britain.

You have no idea how it pained me to write the above paragraph. All one has to do is watch Jimmy Kimmel on a nightly basis to see our youth step all over themselves trying to answer questions about our history thereby making themselves look like ignorant buffoons. But that's the way it goes.

My daughter is with us at our lake place along with her three kiddies for a few weeks. They flew in from Arizona last Wednesday. It has been more tranquil than in previous years(No storms to date).

Regarding ISIS, I feel 90% certain there will not be an attack taking place in our community of 200. Besides, if one of these clowns came into Hackensack, Minnesota his turban, head mask and black and white flag would be a dead giveaways even for those who thrive on lutefisk .

My daughter suggested we stockpile the place with water, canned goods, all types of staples in case of a bombing on the US. I said, "what the hell for? If NYC is bombed and it spreads to upper Minnesota what difference does it make". "We'll survive as long as we can on M&M's and Snickers then make the best of it"

We can live on opossum, raccoon and deer then move on to rodents and turtles if need be. After that roots and ferns.

For some strange reason, though, living through Gotham City being gone and talking about it does have its rewards. My only regret would be, "why the hell didn't they go after California".

Naturally, I'm only kidding about these scenarios but a guy can dream, can't he?
