Guns And Meth Are Not The Same

Recently, the announcement came from YouTube that the Google-owned site would be changing its policies concerning the promotion of guns, gun sales, and gun demonstration videos. YouTube gave a statement to USA Today vaguely explaining this new transition.

You may not be able to watch videos on how to load and clean your gun properly, but hey, at least you can learn how to make crystal meth on YouTube!

You read that right, while videos about guns and gun demos are being taken down, videos where people teach you how to make meth still remain on the site. One example shows a person taking a video on their phone as they make “shake and bake meth,” putting the ingredients in a bottle and shaking it. Less cooking is involved, and practically anyone can do it.
