There's Plenty Of Blame To Go Around

Kids aren't learning in our schools these days. Oh, it's been a slow decline but in the past two years Fauci, Birx and the teachers unions have greatly exacerbated the problem. Please convince me there's a plan to alleviate the situation.

Elementary school students’ math and reading scores plummeted to the lowest level in decades amid the school shutdowns implemented in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, national test results released Thursday show. https://www.nationalreview.com/news/math-reading-scores-plummeted-to-lowest-level-in-decades-during-school-shutdowns/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=breaking&utm_campaign=newstrack&utm_term=28915882

There are partial solutions to the education problem; a lack of education but it's going to take sacrifice from parents. There are things called private schools, Charter schools, Catholic schools, where children can received rock solid education without have communism shoved down their throats. These parents might have to give up a country club membership or possible cut back on new clothes, fine foods and pre-dinner cocktails.

My 12 year old grandson, who lives in Cincinnati, began school last Monday at what is called a Barney School. It's the brainstorm idea of a man out of Toledo, Ohio and its format is based on what is taught at Hillsdale College in Michigan. In addition to the 3 R's kids are taught patriotism and, most specifically, the Constitution of the United States. On Monday afternoon of this week my grandson came home from school and proudly told his parents he was selected to lead the morning Pledge of Allegiance which is said every day.
