When I wrote this heading I thought, "Why should I boycott an NFL team?" Well, if you're me it's difficult to boycott something when you don't buy or watch it in the first place but if any team deserves to be in the ixnay list it's the Seattle Seahawks.
Check out the guy in the picture.
His name is Scott Smiley and he has had quite a military career. 'In 2014. Smiley, the Army’s first blind active-duty officer, raised the 12th man flag in Seattle prior to kickoff eight years ago and gave him a Seahawks jersey. Smiley was the guest of honor for the Seahawks that day and was present a Seahawks jersey, the one shown in the picture.
About the jersey. The NFL team has filed a lawsuit for Smiley to stop wearing this jersey even though one could barely make out the team logo. And why is this? Well, Smiley's wife, Tiffany is a Republican and running for the US Senate for the state of Washington against the worthless Patty Murray. In addition, the Seattle Times, a noted newspaper rag along with Starbucks are also suing the Smiley's because, in a campaign commercial, the Times had a headline across their news heading telling the story about how the homeless were taking over Starbucks.
