Is Your City The Drunkest

I came across one of those articles that gives us former drinkers pause. It listed the drunkest cities in America. It'd be easy for you to guess, I'm sure. First off, what should come to your mind would be winter with days where the sun doesn't shine as much as say, in Hawaii. And then include one whose temps range from freezing to unbearable. This is a recipe for non-stop drinking.

I won't kid around. The towns where drinking occurs most are in the state of Wisconsin. I happened to be teaching in the town of Mukwonago, Wisconsin in the year 1978. One of the high school English teachers told me, and I had no reason to doubt her veracity: the people in the Badger state drank more brandy in a year than all other states combined.

A number of years back Playboy magazine ran an article about colleges that were the best party schools. The article stated the Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison was left out of the mix because it wouldn't be right to compare amateurs with professionals.

Anyway, presented here are someone's ideas on the drunkest towns in America. https://esenotes.com/web-stories/10-drunkest-cities-in-the-us-drunkest-cities-in-america-2022/
