One aspect of elections, for me, is every four years political parties trot out candidates and the populace is forced to get excited about the prospects of having their candidate elected. It doesn't matter if said candidate is a direct descendant of Abraham Lincoln or Zippy the Chimp. The voters fall in line screaming and yelling chants for their guy or gal to win.
It seems to me the older we become the candidates promises are exposed as more shallow. In other words, I don't believe one damn word these clowns spew into the atmosphere.
In order to understand what I've written let's take a peek at just one fake promise given to us by Joe Biden.
"Here’s my promise to you: If I’m elected president, I will always choose to unite rather than divide.
I’ll take responsibility instead of blaming others. I’ll never forget that the job isn’t about me — it’s about you."
Pretty silly, isn't it.
