If I had to do my life all over again I would have been on a television show that was so popular its re-runs continue onto this day. Why do I say this, you might ask? Well, in perusing the news yesterday I read about the recently departed Matthew Perry's income. Check this out. This guy received, over the years since the show stopped being produced, $20 million dollars in cash for 'Friends'.
For some reason and I don't know why but this seems like a lot of cash for doing nothing.
On another subject that has to be about money---------because seemingly everything is-----it's that week of the year when a subject is broached that lasts about a seven days and then we go on with our lives. I'm talking about Daylight Savings time or lack thereof.
My educated suspicion is approximately 60% of the populace, at a minimum, desires we have permanent DST. It might be higher but I'm too lazy to give it proper research. In Ohio, for the past twenty years, the subject has been on the table but fades into oblivion when it comes to a final vote.
Back in the day the #1 reasons for keeping the change in time was to give farmers more time in the field and to protect children walking to school who need more daylight. I ask you, how many children walk anywhere anymore?
There are two states that have only one time and those are Hawaii and Arizona. Why are they so smart?
Just say 'No' to time changes. https://issuesinsights.com/2023/10/31/stop-the-government-mandated-clock-changing-madness-its-pointless-and-dangerous/
