Boring Stuff From Dublin Ohio

Does anyone really actually care about the Ryan Lochte drunk story from Brazil?

Thirty years ago the United States kicked the collective butts of the Russians, all professionals, in the Olympics(do you remember 1986 in hockey). Somewhere along the way we allowed our pro's to play. That's when I stopped viewing.

I can hardly wait for college football to begin. At least these professionals keep it under the table.

Her Majesty is in France. She with her 'Bible Babes visiting churches and religious shrines. Lourdes included. I suggested she bring me back some holy water from Lourdes to lay on my head. Then I thought about it some more. If I die and am creamated with it on my body i'll burn forever considering my past transgressions.

It's tough being a Catholic in the US today---even tougher in Syria. They boil us in vats of tar--and that's the easy part.

I talked to my priest mentor of 56 years this evening. He was unfamiliar with the word 'Sharia'. I mentioned that Christians in Syria were being crucified, among other things, but he didn't believe me. I don't want to mention his name but my Storm Lake correspondent will know of him.

I met a gentleman on the golf driving range today. He looked great and swung the club like a pro. He's 82 years old. I want to take what he's taking. I asked if he took Viagra. "Don't need it", he said. "I haven't had sex in years" I'd say that's answer I can relate to. Did I ever tell you my general practitioner told me he'd write a prescription for 300 little blue pills? Talk about being out of the mainstream. My only response was, " Who do you think I am, Johnny Wad"

I'll be on the road again this coming week: Indiana, Wisconsin(not North Milwaukee). Don't expect a blog unless something unique occurs------but it will.
