When The Shoe Is On The Other Foot

Do you remember in 2018 when Maxine Waters gave her famous 'Get in their faces' diatribe?

"“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up,” she said at the California rally. “And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Evidently, it's not so funny when the criticism is directed toward a Democrat. A very clever person in response to Andrew Cuomo's undercounting the number of elderly deaths in New York saw sort of the same Maxine quote directed toward him.

“If you see anybody from the Cuomo Administration in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere.” -Maxine CuomoWatch"

Liberals are outraged at the crassness of the spoof. It's not right, they say. The reaction was the same when a meme of a person holding the severed head of JoeBama compared to the one held up by Kathy Griffin of Trump. It was funny then. Not so much with Joey boys depiction.

What's the matter? You can dish it out but you can't take it? Get used to it. It's only the beginning.
