Where To Buy A Confederate Flag

Two years ago this September the Queen and I took some Wisconsin friends to Washington D.C. On the first day of our trip we visited the Gettysburg battle site. Afterward, as the sun began its descent we dined in the idyllic community of Gettysburg after walking the streets of this town still looking like a town from hundred-fifty years ago. It so happened I stopped in a shop selling Civil War memorabilia.

Even in 2015 there was a hubbub, a clamoring if you will, to get rid of anything dealing with the Stars & Bars. This lack of an appreciation of history torques me off. In other words, I don't like being told what to do or not do when the Constitution guarantees me those rights. So, I purchased a small Confederate flag and a Confederate stocking cap.

In 2017 it's virtually impossible to buy these items-------except when you're reading MJ Hawkeye.
There happens to be a store in Huntington, Alabama catering to the needs of honest to goodness Americans. From them you can purchase your own flag, United States or otherwise, even a Confederate one made to order.

Sales of Confederate flags surged at Alabama Flag & Banner, which may be the only company still manufacturing the flags in the United States. Belinda Kennedy, the owner, sees the flag as a historical symbol. (Anna Claire Vollers | avollers@AL.com)

You can thank me by using your God given rights to buy. MJH
