What's The Big Deal About Guns

There's a ditty going around about guns. It was sent to me by my Northwest Iowa correspondent. I've copied a couple of paragraphs for your digestion.

When it comes to the issue of guns, in my opinion, the Democrats lead the way in hypocrisy, especially in the City of Big Shoulders---Chicago. They're Mayor, Rahm 'Never Let A Crisis Go To Waste' Emmanuel has declared his town to be a 'Sanctuary City' for those from Central America. Yet, his community leads the nation in gun deaths somewhere above 500 a year and rising.

I would think his main emphasis would be on crime. Not a chance. Anyway, this si what was sent to me:

The United States is 3rd in Murders throughout the World. But if you take out just 5 'left-wing' cities: Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, St Louis and New Orleans -- the United States is 4th from the bottom, in the ENTIRE World, for Murders.

These 5 Cities are controlled by DEMOCRATS. They have The Toughest Gun Control Laws in the USA.  Do you think maybe Democrats just might have something to do with, maybe actually committing, most of the gun violence……or would it be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data?

Gives you pause, huh? If not you must be a liberal Democrat.
