It's a gorgeous Sunday March morning and I opened the news sites and what to my still blurry brown eyes should appear but another story about a train derailment in Ohio. This time it's in Springfield which is located some fifty miles west of Columbus on I-70. Granted, there were only 20 cars on the ground without hazardous waste being spilled(that we know about) but still-----------. Since Springfield is more of a Democrat controlled city of 58,000 my suspicion is there will be action aplenty to get things right.
So, and I might be off base on this, I'd read after the East Palestine wreck, there were over 1,000 train derailments yearly in this country from not so serious to disastrous.
Does the Keystone Pipeline mean anything to you? I only bring this up because it was one of the first ones shut down after you-know-who took office. How many pipelines, above or underground, for that matter, have burst spewing their contents all over the ground? I can't think of many but I do have selective memory.
It seems to me radicals against pipelines, young and old, have made it their life's goal to protest these wretched killers of our environment and rid them from our country. I have a question for you. Can you spot the underground pipeline in the photo below?
What am I missing on this subject? https://nypost.com/2023/03/04/ohio-residents-sheltered-in-place-after-another-train-derailment/
