My old home state of Iowa is getting blasted with snow this week. Many sections of the state received up to 12" of powder two days ago and are in line to get hammered again with the same amount in the next couple days. Not to worry though. We Hawkeyes are tough dudes and dudettes. Townsfolk and those in rural areas will still show up for Tuesdays caucuses. Even so, when I saw this photo taken in Oskaloosa, Iowa it warmed the cockles of my heart. It took me back to the 60's and 70's when this type of snow was a common occurrence.
