Paying And Not Getting Any

My eldest son and I were on the phone last night. I like listening to him due to his insight on a variety of topics. As usual we got around to politics and the health care bill. I had mentioned how ridiculous it is that if the bill passes we, the people, begin paying for it through taxation in 2010 while Medicare is immediately reduced. It's benefits(benefits--that's a joke) aren't available to us until the start of 2015. To emphasize my point I stated that's like renting an apartment and paying rent for four years before I could move in. My son one upped me. He said it's more like getting married but having to be celibate for the following four years. I liked his analogy better.
