Tiger Woods

Unless you've been living in a biosphere the last two days there's a huge kerfuffle about Tiger Woods, his wife and a 9 iron. I do hope there's nothing to the infidelity rumors. Tiger is known around the world as a role model to young and old alike. He's given millions to establish educational foundations and has striven to maintain his privacy.
I heard a sportscaster say that Tiger may very well be the recipient of some very negative press from the mainstream media. A few years ago there was a movement to have Tiger use his "blackness" to speak for that brand of minority. Tiger, to his credit, avoided being 'used' by Bill Clinton at Shea Stadium to honor Jackie Robinson. Mr. Woods was asked to speak at an Obama function as part of the inaugural festivities for Obama. He did give a talk but he honored members of our Armed Forces and thereby avoided racial controversy. He was castigated in the press for missing an opportunity to shine the light on the plight of Blacks in the country. Just as Michael Jordan sells shoes Tiger Woods sells Buicks or did, anyway. It's called economic common sense.
If Tiger and Elin are having problems I feel badly for both of them but to quote our Democrat friends from the late 1990's in protecting Billy Bob Clinton, "What's the big deal? It's only about sex".
