Imagine taking your wife and six children, the oldest age ten, out for a Friday evening meal at the Golden Corral. What fun these children must have had with their parents. Little did they know they're lives were about to change forever.
Today, in the Columbus, Ohio suburb of Dublin six children are without a dad. Around 6:30 pm last evening, while the sun was dropping from the sky, the father of these small children was about to be slaughtered at random. As the family was in the parking lot having left the restaurant a black man got out of his car, asked the dad for money, then without provocation, shot him dead in front of his wife and children.
The proximity of the callous murder to my home is unnerving. It's a ten minute drive away. We are not used to this type of heinous crime.
How insane have we become? What is going on in our society? This, the slaughter of this dad, is so despicable it's beyond comprehension.
Please God, we need You more than ever.
