Actual name Charles K. Smith, the San Antonio College geography professor pictured above showed up to class last Tuesday in body armor to protest the implementation that day of a campus carry law across Texas’ universities and colleges.
“I was just saying I don’t feel safe,” he told mySA.com. “It definitely makes me feel uneasy that there are more firearms on campus than there really should be. (Dressing this way) was just a statement on how I felt.”
Yes, of course, because I’m sure the environment on campus would be far safer if only criminals who don’t give a damn about the law were armed with weapons, right?
