"Crumbs"

Nancy Pelosi showed herself to be be a D.C. elitist once again with her announcement that the bonuses Americans will receive through taxcuts; $1,000, $2,000, $3000 plus company bonuses amount to nothing more than crumbs.

Let me take you back to a column I wrote a few years back. In essence, I wrote: My dad, who died in 1994, was a lemming as hard core democrat. If a guy had a D by his name my dad pulled his lever.
Luckily, I escaped from the dark side and came over to the land of milk and honey early on.

In 1989 I left teaching and secured a job in sales. By 1991 I was bringing home more money than I thought possible so I began sending Dad $100 per month walking around cash. He was divorced by then and probably spent the money on booze and cigarettes but whatever. In 1993 Clinton took office and my personal taxes, as is always the case with blood sucking Democrats, went through the roof. Since Dad was a Clinton lover and to teach him a lesson I went a couple of months without sending his hundo hoping to teach him a lesson in economics. It didn't work. At the end of the 3rd month he called me in Davenport, Iowa from Boone, Iowa and wondered why I wasn't sending HIS money. In the end I did start sending him my money but the point was wasted. Remember, he was a liberal incapable of thinking for himself.

Nancy Pelosi would have loved my dad. He would have loved her. Dad was one of those guys bitching about tax cuts for the rich. So, if the rich can't improve their lot in life his thought process would be I don't want a dime aka crumbs.

I did pretty well on my 401 K last year. I don't know if my three kids received company bonuses. They never tell the Queen and I their business but I'll probably send them some crumbs. I'm sure they'll spend it on dumb stuff like groceries, electricity and gasoline for their cars. Stupid kids!
