Lunch With A Big Shot

Every once in awhile I'll make contact with a person and we click. This happened to me two years ago at a Republican get together in New Albany, Ohio prior to the last general election. I was sitting at a table and the person who drove me to the event introduced a guy directly across from me and I immediately recognized his name. It was he who was responsible for ramrodding corruption charges against one of Ohio's politicians who has since been found guilty and is looking at 40 years in the slammer. My new found friend became such a lightening rod he had to hire protection against perceived threats against his life. Over the course of time we get together over lunch or dinner and discuss the events of the day. The beauty of this is he accepts my interpretations of what's going on in the world. What the hell? I can recall times when I told people the sun was shining and they'd laugh at me like I was an idiot even though it's was a summer day in July.

We met today and the gentleman asked how long before Joe Biden has charges for treason brought against he and his family. My answer? I have no idea. Last month would have been too soon for me. Anyway, I mentioned that unlike he and I who live and breathe politics the great part of society could care less. They don't pay attention. There are too many other things going on in their lives. I asked him how many people know about a prosecuting lawyer named Jack Smith. What they hey, I went on. I wonder how many citizens could even tell you the name of the person who calls herself the vice-president of the United States.

To prove my point I related the circumstances of what happened to me three days ago. For the first time in years I played in a golf tournament. It wasn't a biggie in the scheme of tournaments but I enjoy competition and so I paid the $120 fee for the two day event---------and 'No' I didn't win but that's not the point. I competed.

After the first day's golf some of us fellas went to the clubhouse for our post game refreshments and to partake in general talk about life in general. One of the fellas sat down across from me and placed a can of Bud Lite on the table. I made an off the cuff comment: "I bet you're the first person in a month to buy a Bud from this place." I didn't expect comeback words from him and I didn't receive any but the fella sitting next to him asked, "Why would you make that statement" and he did it inquisitively as in, 'what the heck are you talking about'? Allow me to give a brief description of the man. He's 73 years old and owns his own very successful financial company. in Worthington, Ohio. He's with it. He was genial and super intelligent and is an outstanding golfer. When a guy who is his age can shoot a 71 that's heady stuff and I don't care if it is playing from the yellow tees.

Here's my point. This man was completely and totally clueless about the Bud Lite controversy. He's obviously never heard of Dylan Mulvaney and, furthermore, after I gave him a very brief intro on the subject he was totally disinterested.

So, on the way home I began comparing this guy's words (we'll call him Steve but only for the reason that it's his given name) with what I perceive to be the lack of interest with the problems facing our country from the likes of Joe Biden. Here's a guy who totally screwed up the withdrawal from Afghanistan which allowed for the murders of 13 U.S. military members along with over 100 Afghan civilians. We left in that country 80 billion dollars worth of military equipment. We have given the Ukraine government over 100 billion dollars in cash to carry on their war no strings attached. We do not have a direct accounting of where the money goes and no one is asking questions. On our southern border--------you remember that place, right? It was constructed so could keep our sovereignty by eliminating terrorists and other degenerates like drug lords from infiltrating our country. We had that border to try and keep illegal drugs from entering the nation. It is now the place where over 84,000 youngsters under the age of 18 have come across and are now living in 'Who the hell knows where'. Of these 84,000 it is estimated that 18,000 of these children have been made sex slaves but it's not that crucial to the great part of the population because more important things are taking place like the beginning of college football and who is picked to win the National Championship. I ask you, is it at all a concern that over 7 million illegal immigrants, mostly young men, have come across our southern border and taken over our cities? These degenerates aren't coming in from Canada are they? Want to know why? It's because there's a concern they might not vote Democrat. Let me add to this by informing you the governor of Illinois announced last week illegal immigrants will now be hired as police officers in the state. Do most citizens of Illinois care? Probably not and the reason is the Chicago Cubs have moved up in the standings and are now only three games behind in their division.

I wonder how many people know about or care, and I'll come straight out and say this, Joe Biden and the entire Biden family are traitors to this country. Many elected officials can also be put in the traitor bin. It is now estimated the Biden's have taken in over $50 million dollars from countries around the world and much of that money from our enemies. Can you say China or Russia or Rumania or a myriad of other nations who absolutely hate us?

And lest I forget it is more than possible we're on the precipice of World War III but that's minor, right?

So, let me refer back to Steve the Golfer. If he doesn't care about the Bud Lite story why in the name of Anthony Fauci would he give a hoot about our  corrupt, lying, government, our way of life, our right to live free under the Constitution of the United States? It's not that Steve is a bad person but like most Americans he's concerned with paying the bills and making certain their families are the focus of their lives.

Folks, it's only my opinion but this country is now officially a Banana Republic. Yesterday, a prosecuting attorney hired by the disgusting Attorney General, Merrick Garland, sought and received an indictment against Donald Trump. And Trump's crime? Well, he stated he thought the results of the last election phoney. He thinks he won. And by making this statement he could go to jail. I thought we had freedom of speech under the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. Let me remind you 'Hillary the Fat' made the same statements numerous times since she lost the Election of '16. Will she be indicted? Should Hillary be in jail for sponsoring and paying for fake information saying Russian collusion is the reason Trump was elected? Jimmy Carter has said the same about the '16 election results. Will the peanut farmer spend his final years in the hoosegow?

Folks, we're facing real problems in this nation and action needs to be taken.
