I Hit The Trifecta

The great American sellout took place last night. Why is it whenever a controversial bill is signed it always takes place under the cover of darkness? You've seen some of the particulars, of course. The American people are cheering because the dastardly Republicans caved and now will have to pony up another trillion dollars in debt. Mitch McConnell illustrated what a 'clean bill' is not by getting $3 billion for a dam and flood control project for Kentucky. Sometimes the smallest items bring out the worst. i.e. The now deceased ex-Senator, Frank Lautenberg, from New Jersey can rest for eternity knowing his wife will receive a one time pension of $176,000. Evidently, deceased spouses of money sucking congressional people get this stipend. I say it's only fair. Afterall, she's already worth $90 million.
I was semi-anxious to see how my senators and representative voted in Ohio. Unsurprisingly, Sen. Rob Portman(Wuss Party) had a Y next to his name along with that of my congressman, Pat Tiberi(Wuss Party). What this means is they voted alongside Senator Sherrod Brown, aka Marxist. I hit the big trifecta.
All Americans are oh so happy this morning. The debt problem is solved for three months when the Republicans cave again, Harry Reid is the king of the Senate, John Boehner can feel cuddly by telling us he 'fought the good fight' and Barack Obama can move on to his next piece of socialism, immigration reform.
What a county!
