I'm sure most of us have heard about the Tacoma, Washington train tragedy this morning. The passenger train was on its first run and as of now there are six dead.Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Ohio and West Virginia shared another disaster date on Dec 15. It was in 1967 that a bridge connecting the two communities, Pleasant Point, WV and Gallipolis, Ohio came tumbling down. It took exactly 60 seconds for the 2235 foot bridge to be twisted like a pretzel and drop into the Ohio River. In the process 49 citizens lost their lives and sadly their bodies were never recovered. Wrong place at the wrong time.
Sadly, when we lost a loved one the first one to be blamed is God. I really don't think it works that way.
It's like me at the roulette table, a victim of rotten luck.
