I was lying in bad last night. It must have been around 2 am and began thinking. If you're wondering why I was awake, well, I sometimes have what's called 'Restless Leg Syndrome' and I thrash around until the Sandman finally does his thing.
Anyway, I was thinking about the Montana Balloons and how they sort of came out of nowhere and it reminded me of December 7, i941 and how Pearl Harbor the American people must have felt that fateful Sunday morning.
I seriously doubt the Average Joe at the came gave much thought to world wars and especially our involvement. After all, we had two big oceans separating us from the slaughter taking place in Europe, Asia and Africa beginning in 1939. "It can't happen here" I'm assuming the people were saying. But it did.
Jump forward to today and consider the Chinese balloons hovering over our land and Latin American as I write. Other than media buffs like yours truly I sort of doubt much thought is being given to world affairs. Maybe that's the way it should be-----------putting food on the table for your family and paying the daily bills are and should be top priority.
In my insomniac sleep of last night it also hit me: Think about what China has given us in the past decade. Think about how they have influenced our nation-----But stop! This goes back much further than 2010. Do you remember the Clinton administration and the massive amounts of cash given the Clinton's. The was a fella in Little Rock, Arkansas named Charlie Trie. He owned a restaurant. It turned out he had given the Democrats and Clinton one million dollars! When the China connection was exposed this small time restaurant owner fled the country. And he wasn't the only one of those who would later be called 'The Yellow Peril' who were flooding this country with Chinese cash.
Let's take a brief look at other Chinese shenanigans. Sen. Dianne Feinstein has been in the Senate since the Declaration of Independence was signed. Did you know her chauffeur of twenty years was a Chinese spy? Eric Swalwell(D-Moron, California) was having sex with an Oriental nickamed Fang Fang. When outed she fled the country. Our colleges and universities are inundated with the Chinese communists. The Chinese have purchased massive amounts of farm land in recent years not to mention the many numbers of food processing companies-----all on American soil. In the past few years there have been other contributions from the land of Chairman specifically fentanyl and Covid both emanating out of Wuhan. I wonder when our leaders will get off their dead butts and take notice. Actually, I know the answer. It'll be when the money trains cease to infuse cash into the pockets of our elected and appointed political officials.
Mind you, I don't compare the balloons with Pearl Harbor but I do think there's a comparison when it comes to the mindset of the people.
