The NFL And The N Word

A week ago I speculated about a particular scenario in the NFL: Since approximately 75%-80% of the players are black it would be extremely difficult, almost impossible, for a referee, the majority white, to enforce the rule applying a 15 yard penalty to the offending player using the N word. This is a toss-up question. In big-time football, on the playing field, which word is used most often, the N word or the F word? My guess is the latter but it'd be close.
My son was talking about this and brought up an interesting example of what could happen. He said, "Let's say it's the Super Bowl and there's time for one more play. The offense has the ball on the half yard line and scores a touchdown. But wait! In all the excitement a bevy of the players on the winning team let go with thousands of F and N words. A referee then throws a flag nullifying the touchdown. Holy Cats and kittens! One can only imagine the furor. Or, we could put the onus on the defense. What if they stop the offensive team short of the goal line and then go literally berserk with joy. But an official hears their profanities in violation of NFL rules and throws a flag giving the offense the ball and they score the winning Super Bowl touchdown. This could happen because a game cannot end on a penalty. If you think this is rather far fetched it most likely is but we're talking about human beings who for one reason or another do human things.
Isn't it better to go back to the 50's style game and let the players decide instead of the media and all the social do-gooders in this country? The next thing we'll find out is that only Vegans will be allowed to play----in pink panties.
