"The World Needs Me"

Take it for what it's worth but I was listening to Brit Hume on Fox last evening and he related this conservation he had with a Democrat Senator. Hume stated that the talk took place in '07 while Obama was contemplating a run for the presidency. According to the unnamed senator Obama said, "I'm seriously thinking about becoming the President. The world needs me". This, if true, is the talk of a maniacal psycho.

In a follow-up on today's Fox and Friends: Fox & Friends cohost Elisabeth Hasselbeck claimed Wednesday morning that then-candidate Barack Obama had promised his better “understanding” of Muslims would prevent atrocities like the beheading of American freelance journalist Steven Sotloff by groups like ISIS — something that ain’t working so well, per Hasselbeck.
“You look back to 2007, the president alluded to the fact he thought it would change the world once he was inaugurated, that he would be able to understand Muslims and therefore crimes like this would not occur and the world would be safer because he had understanding,” Hasselbeck said. “Well years later, it doesn’t seem to be working.”
“So his strategy seemed to be himself,” she concluded. “Not a good one".

Of course, Mrs. Hasselbeck will be dismissed as a ditzy bubble head by the Leftists.
