If you watch the supposed major television networks or read the MSM you're unaware of comments made by Johnathan Gruber. He is the main architect of ObamaCare and now, in a series of three videos as of today*, has made some profound and revealing statements about the American populace and their inability to understand anything involving the use of brain power.
Over the course of three years, on camera with words, Gruber has stated our health care law would not have passed had it not been for: (1) the need for a lack of transparency*, (2) the stupidity of the American people on understanding how it would impact them and (3) it would raise our taxes.
Know what? I agree with Gruber regarding stupid people. It's impossible not to. Who in their right minds would elect a president to the highest office in the land knowing little, if anything, about his life? I make this promise. If I happened to be running for the office of Mayor of Dublin, Ohio the party of the opposition could go back to Boone, Iowa and know my entire bio from the age of six to high school graduation and I'm almost sixty-nine years of age. They would easily find acquaintances from Coe College, friend and foe alike, to give them the inside dirt.
I taught in six different high schools. Enough said. And on and on and on.
Trust me when I tell you I'd have my nomination papers burned before the match was lit. I wouldn't survive the crap I did from age 12 to 18. Let's not even discuss the college and teaching years. And those only take me to the age of forty-two. Good Lord, I'd still have twenty-seven years of self-imposed embarrassment and obfuscation to cover up.
Are the American stupid? absolutely. Do yourself a favor. Stay up and watch Jimmy Kimmel on TV doing his stunts. They involve numerous man on the street stunts to show how totally ignorant our citizenry are on people, places and things. And then they laugh at their own stupidity. And these people are supposedly the smart ones. They could care less the country sees them as mental midgets.
Jesse Watters does a schtick on Fox doing essentially the same. He'll visit a college campus interviewing students. The questions go like this: "Who is the vice-president of the United States(No lie. This happened last week)? Forget that he goes to Ivy Leagues schools but, that in itself, is highly significant. Invariably, these 'students' are clueless. But ask them about a current singer or movie and the answer literally jumps off their tongues.
I don't blame Gruber, the man who received $400,000 of our taxpayer money by then ObamaCare czar, Kathleen Sebelius, for his admissions. What I do detest is how he tried to pull the wool over the eyes of the people by lying. But in this administration uber fibbing is their chief modus operandi for the implementation of policy.
Gruber broke down and visited the show of Ronan Farrow of MSNBC on Monday to explain his words. The hard-hitting Farrow, the winner of The Walter Cronkite Award for journalism(Are you kidding me) after two weeks on the air, accepted Gruber's explanation. "It was a slip of the lip on my part and I apologize", said Gruber. Oops! The MIT prof made the statement prior to the revelation there were two more videos out there in Video Land saying those same words. "This would now be three slips of the lips, Professor Gruber". My suggestion for you; rub a dab of crazy glue in front of your teeth before you go on stage again".
"Hey Johnathan, you dumbass, the only reason you apologized is because you got nailed". It's the same situation as a guy found guilty of murdering five people, gets sentenced to death, then apologizes to the family of the dead. The SOB got caught. That's why he apologized. That and he hopes he doesn't get the needle.
Did you catch my asterisk** in this piece? I hope so. If not let me explain from a quote you've heard before. "You have to pass the bill before you know what's in it".**
Well, it happened thanks to the stupid people. And all of you who supported the, "If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. If you like your plan you can keep your plan. Your health care costs won't increase one thin dime. Your costs will decrease by $2,500 dollar". You are what Gruber told us. You are---dumber than dirt.
