“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Please don't misconstrue the above paragraph as a comparison between the Obama Administration and that of Nazi Germany. In the waning days of World War II the Soviets were at the gates of Berlin slaughtering the innocents as they entered the city. Hitler's propaganda minister, Paul Goebbels, took to the radio airwaves and announced to the German people, "We are winning the war and it's only a matter of time before victory is at hand". Hitler was by then a drug addled delusional piece of humanity. He felt the people were traitors to the cause, then had Goebbels tell the population to head to underground tunnels for safety. The task had been completed. Nazi soldiers then opened the flood gates of the River Spree and thousands of patriotic German citizens died. And so goes 'The Big Lie'.
How the Obama Big Lie Works:
In 2009 before both houses of Congress: "Let me be perfectly clear. No illegal immigrants will receive benefits under the Affordable Care Act"
"If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor".
"If you like you plan you can keep your plan".
"Your premiums will not rise on thin dime and in most cases will be reduced by $2,500".
These are domestic utterances. I haven't yet dwelled on egregious lies involving foreign involvements.
"It wasn't me who drew a Red Line. The world drew a Red Line".
The point to be taken here is it's easy to dupe the people. They desire to believe the outrageous. If you don't believe me then why does the National Enquirer continue to be a profitable publication?
