For the younger crowd, today is the anniversary of the ending of The Great War, 'The War To End All Wars'. Except, it didn't quite work out that way.
Many of you will look at the heading, scratch your head and ask, "What is MJH writing about"?
On the 11th month of the 11th day at the 11th hour in 1918 World War I came to an end. We honor the men in our home. My wife's uncle, her dad's brother, was the 3rd Iowan killed in that conflict.
The boys from WWI and pretty much WWII are now gone. Let's honor all the veterans who have served our country.
