A Dead Skunk In The Middle Of The Road Stinkin' To High Heaven

In the early 1980's a singer by the name of Louden Wainwright III came out with a song titled 'Dead Skunk In The Middle Of The Road'. It's a humorous little song as attested to by the first couple of stanzas:

Crossin' the highway late last night

He shoulda looked left and he shoulda looked right
He didn't see the Station Wagon car
The skunk got squashed and there you are

You got yer
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
Stinkin' to high heaven

Take a whiff on me that ain't no rose
Roll up yer window and hold yer nose
You don't have to look and you don't have to see
'Cause you can feel it in your olfactory.

To the average Joe this only a fun song. I always looked at it that way until I began considering the last few days of this election cycle, especially with the soap opera belonging to Hillary.

If Hillary is defeat the circus will continue all the way to Leavenworth. It won't be Trump who follows through on him promise to put her in jail. It'll be the American people who demand it. I don't think the Clinton's are able to find another fall guy aka Webb Hubbell.

If Hillary does win this election she will be the proverbial 'Dead Skunk In the Middle Of The Road'. There is absolutely nothing she can do to eliminate the stain brought forth from the lies she has perpetrated upon the American people for so many years. The stink from her life has permeated our society to the extent she will see her supporters fall by the wayside rather that have the association of sin souls for the rest of her life.

If she survives can you imagine the blackmail from other nations? Can you see the demise of our Republic?
