I woke late this morning primarily because the Queen was taking part in a snore fest in the middle of the night and I didn't nod off until 3 am. I've learned not to say a word about this situation the next morning. Better left unsaid. We husbands have to learn to pick our battles.
Anyway, Charlie always jumps on my bed in the morning to awaken me so I staggered downstairs around 8:30, grabbed a cup o' joe and turned on the telly. It was already tuned to Fox and the only picture, with audio in the background, showed a long line of Mr. and Mrs. John Q. Public'ers standing in line waiting for the Bill Barr congressional hearings to begin.
I live in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. Wouldn't this scenario, standing in line for hours, sort of be like spending $500 on a ticket to a Michigan-Ohio State football game when I could lie on the couch and watch it for free?
These people need to get a life.
