Sometimes, I laugh out loud at shenanigans taking place within the federal government. For instance, the Director of the FBI, Chris Wray, is appearing before members of Congress this fine day, Republicans and Democrats. I'm not really a fan of polling but in regard to trust in the FBI a most recent poll said that 56% of the people think they're not trustworthy. Another 36% say 'maybe not'.
It could be my age that I'm skeptical of what goes on in DC(I've seen too many losers) but I had to laugh at a couple Democrats who came to the support of the leader of the FBI. One of them is congressman Eric Swalwell from California. This guy was playing bang-bang with a Chinese spy named Fang Fang and Eric is married. He's such a smuck his entire family, mom and dad included, have disowned him. Yet, he goes on TV in these gabfests and acts like he's the second coming of Daniel Webster. A second congressman and you might remember him from an utterance he made a few years ago while questioning the leaders of our Armed Forces in regard to sending for training in Guam 5,000 American soldiers. Do you remember? If you're a Republican your answer isan absolute 'Yes'. If you're a Democrat you'll respond with 'Huh'? Anyway, the congressman, Hank Johnson, asked the general if he wasn't afraid, with this many soldiers being sent at one time, that Guam might tip over. Folks, it's guy like Johnson who have the power to vote declarations of war. Yeesh!.
And here we are------members of congress eliciting answers from a guy who heads the FBI who deems conservative parents speaking up at school boards to being domestic terrorists. He's the stooge who heads an organization who sent 28 of is elite storm troopers, guns drawn, to a home in Tennessee to arrest a father of eight children and a minister of a church for standing outside an abortion clinic while praying!
I wonder when good people will stand up and say, "Enough." I'm not holding my breath.
But, as of today there's new information about the one of the most corrupt bodies in world history:
The FBI censored American citizens at the direction of Ukrainian intelligence by banning social media accounts that Ukraine determined to be a threat to their agenda. According to a new report by the House Judiciary Committee, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube censored accounts that Ukraine determined to be 'spreading Russian disinformation.'
