Never Understood Why She Was Dumped

For some reason the phrase, 'Cutting off your nose to spite your face' comes to mind when I think of this ad. What I do know is her family were greatly incensed Aunt Jemima was dumped. What did the Left gain with the eradication of the woman? We can say the same about Uncle Ben's Rice. I can honestly say that all the years growing up, and this dates back to 1951, I never gave it one thought I was eating delicious pancakes made by a black person. I never once bemoaned the fact that I was a racist for eating those delicious and fluffy cakes. What a shame. Oh, and I wonder why Log Cabin syrup wasn't banned at the same time. After all, didn't slaves grow up in those buildings? Makes sense to me.
