Wisconsin Recall--A Waste Of Time
The recall vote against Gov. Scott Walker in Wisconsin takes place tomorrow. Mayor Tom Barrett(D), Mayor of Milwaukee, is running against the republican. Big union money from all over the country has filtered in to overthrow Walker's initial victory. Since taking office what Wisconsin has seen is a reduction in unemployment from 7.6% to 6.5%. Property taxes have been reduced in a number of districts and small businesses are coming back to the Badger state. Unions are upset because Walker has asked its members to increase their contributions to pension funds and health insurance. Gasp! It's still not up to what the private citizen pays. Do you know who the biggest loser is in this entire scenario? Yep, it's the private citizen because this recall election will cost $17 million dollars in taxes to the people of Wisconsin. If this kind of spending continues pretty soon those folks will be talking real money.
