It Makes Me Want To Throw Up
Army Sgt. John Perry, 30, was killed in Afghanistan on Saturday when he stopped a suicide bomber from reaching his target
His father, Stewart Perry, says he and his family traveled on American Airlines from Sacramento to Dover Air Force Base to meet his remains
When they landed at a layover in Phoenix, the captain asked passengers to remain seated to let the family get off so they could make connecting flight
Perry said first class passengers booed and complained as they exited the plane, despite the captain saying why they were allowed to leave first
Perry said: 'To hear the reaction of the flight being delayed because of a Gold Star family, and the first class cabin booing that was really upsetting'
The decorated solider leaves behind his wife of eight years, Julianne, and two young children - five-year-old Lena and four-year-old Gavin
His wife says he will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
