The Queen and I were in very western Arizona two years ago this January. It was supposed to be a two month vacation away from cold and snow. It wasn't but that's another story.

Anyway, two magnificent people from our past live in a town called Parker, Arizona. The wife, when she talks, has glazed donuts and candy canes come from her lips. I don't think she's ever uttered a word stronger than shucks. What she does have in her purse is a hand gun. I thought this was very cool.  Guess what. Arizona doesn't require a permit. 

What a wonderful area Parker, Arizona is. As for Phoenix and the surrounding areas they can suck grapes.
