I just saw the replay of what should have been the winning goal against Slovenia. I'd like to scream to the heavens, "We wuz robbed". I'd like to but I'd be lying. I don't care. It has the same appeal as when Ted Turner won the America's cup.** I remember I was teaching and it must have been around 1985. One of my students took the opportunity to announce we should cancel class in celebration. We didn't though.
