Each state and most notably large cities and small have unique issues on the ballot. An example would be a tax on San Francisco businesses to provide funds for the homeless. Not surprisingly, it passed.
In Ohio there was a statewide vote to reduce drug offenses to misdemeanors and provide reduced sentences for those selling. It went down inflames. Judges and law enforcement officials were adamantly against. Democrats(gotta get those votes) and the NAACP were onboard. Whoda thunk it?
Democrats promised they'd bring back the issue again. Of course they will. Put two rats in a subway and 30 days later you're looking at sixteen and on and on and on.
If interested look at the issues in your state. You'll be surprised.
