Dad, Mom, Baby Kicked Off Airplane

Normally stories about people getting kicked off of airplanes don't tug at my heart. There's always 'the rest of the story' moment. That's why at first I was skeptical about this particular story.

Yet another young family was booted from a plane last week over issues complying with the airline's mask-wearing guidelines. According to mom Eliz Orban, she and her husband had just boarded a United Airlines flight in Denver that was bound for Newark, New Jersey, when their 2-year-old daughter began refusing to wear her face mask. Instead of being understanding about the matter, Orban accused the flight crew of being "rude" before kicking her off the flight, in an incident she later called "humiliating."

I read then re-read the story. Then I watched the video. The child wasn't crying or throwing a tantrum. Everytime dad put on her mask she pulled it off. Eventually, the father held a mask up next to her face. End of story, right?

Wrong. A flight attendant came to them to inform them they'd been kicked off the plane. They were not allowed retrieve their luggage and were told they were banned from flying United ever again(though this has been rescinded).

Watch the video. I felt so sorry for the family.https://cafemom.com/news/colorado-family-kicked-off-united-flight-toddler-mask
