A journalist, Dan Piepenbring, writing for The New Yorker magazine wrote a lengthy piece on how Chick-fil-A is destroying downtown NYC. His assumption is there was at one time only one of these fast food franchises. There are now four with plans to construct sixteen.
He's not a vegan that I know about although he does take offense at the Chick-fil-A logo showing a cow exclaim 'eat more chikin' is unfair.
And what is the Piep's major gripe? It's that Chick-fil-A's CEO Dan Cathay(now deceased) has too many Christian values but more specifically gives money to anti-LGBT groups. Get this. Chick-fil-A is closed on Sunday. Gasp!
Taking a page out of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's page of calling for a boycott of the restaurant because the establishment doesn't represent Chicago values(graft, corruption, murder) the mayor of New York, communist sympathizer Bill de Blasio who honeymooned in Havana, Cuba, also called for a boycott. As with Chicago it failed miserably. In these four of the Big Apple's restaurants a sandwich is sold every six seconds. Not all New Yorker's, evidently, are liberal blithering idiots.
For we conservatives Piepenbring has the right to put down his thoughts--anytime, anywhere. It's too bad it doesn't work the other way around.
The main point is Chick-fil-A are darned good eats. If they weren't they'd have gone out of business years ago, liberals be damned.
