It's Iowa Again

The Dems think they have a chance to retake everything in Iowa in the upcoming elections. Did you know they are the first in the nation in primaries with their ridiculous caucus?

In the Hawkeye State the Republicans control the governor's office, the Lieutenant Governor, both houses of the legislature and pretty damned well every local office, much to the chagrin of the Des Moines Register aka Pravda West.

Still, the presidential candidates from the Stupid Party are tying to make their presence known throughout the state.

The old liberal Speaker of the House, Tip O'Neill, Democrat said "All politics are local". If this is the case Democrats are like burnt toast.

The unemployment rate in Iowa as I write is 2.8%. What did James Carville say when heading up Bubb Clinton's campaign? Oh yeah, now I remember: "It's the economy stupid".

And then we move onto the national level------------

While the media obsess over the latest porn queen drama, President Trump is quietly shaping up to be one of the best economic presidents in modern U.S. history.
Under his watch, the unemployment rate hit 3.9 percent in April, the lowest level this century. At this rate, essentially every American who wants a job could find one. Keep in mind, the unemployment rate was more than double this level as recently as President Obama's second term in office.
Unemployment has dipped below 4 percent only a few times in U.S. history. Yet the underlying figures may be even more remarkable. Unemployment among blacks and Latinos fell to 6.6 percent and 4.8 percent, respectively, their lowest

levels in recorded history — and half the rates of five years ago.

My question is, how's your 401K doing?
