Let me get this straight. President Obama is considering getting the Justice Department involved in collegiate football. He may intervene in the BCS, Bowl Championship Series, to determine a national champion by forcing college football teams to submit to a playoff system. Only to show I'm not picking on the Commander in Chief, Sen. Orrin Hatch(R) Utah, is on board the same train as "'Crazy Legs" Obama. Hatch is peeved because the Utah Utes were shut out in January of 2009 from the BCS Championship game because the powers to be wanted more high profile teams---or, so he thinks.
Being a former high school football coach one would think I would have a sports opinion on this subject. Well, I do. I could care less one way or the other. And how do I feel about Obama and Hatch on the subject. Good Lord, is their work schedule so depleted they have to concern themselves with football? One more thought and it might have some significance to 300 million people in the US. Didn't Obama fail to mention, even once, anything about terrorism in his SOTU speech? The Executive branch and the Legislative branch of our United States government: what a bunch of dorks!
