Liberalism & Bondage: It's The Same

I luckily came across this fabulous article on TheBoboFiles.com. This man does a much better job of explaining Liberalism than I. If asked my definition, in a word, it would be "Detroit".

It was Ben Franklin who stated the following:
“I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I travelled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”
“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through this sequence:
From bondage to spiritual faith
From spiritual faith to great courage
From courage to liberty
From liberty to abundance
From abundance to complacency
From complacency to apathy
From apathy to dependence
From dependence back into bondage”
Where do you suppose America is now? Where do you suppose blacks are in this mix? Let’s look at the numbers -
Percent of total U.S. population – 12.4%
Percent in poverty – Blacks – 24.5% (highest of all races)
Percent unemployed – Blacks – 10.5% (highest of all races)
Percent of Home Ownership – Blacks – 46% (lowest of all races)
Percent of Single-Parent households – Blacks – 65% (highest of all races)
Percent who are on Welfare or Government Assistance – Blacks – 39.8% (highest of all races)
Percent of Black population who are registered Democrats – 65%
Given the aforementioned figures – it is no wonder that blacks overwhelmingly support Democrats and liberalism. Liberal policies have enslaved them and made them dependent upon the government. Liberals love social policies because they believe in that term “social justice.” They use these liberal policies against conservatives stating that anyone who opposes these social policies are racist and they just hate minorities. When, in reality – it is liberals who are the true racists and are breeding an electorate that depend on them to keep them in power. Liberals like to say that if Conservatives get in to power – they will take away all of those benefits (Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP, Welfare, Unemployment, In reality – that is just what Conservatives should do.
The Black community has become dependent upon those government backed subsidies in order to live.
It has been found in study after study that the best way out of poverty is through education. If the Liberals were truly about helping minorities and blacks get out of poverty – then – why are they not truly pushing education programs on these classes of people?
Percent of High School Drop-outs – 12% – Second behind Alaskans and Native Americans
Percent of Black Population that enroll in college – 32%
Percent of Black Population that earn a bachelor’s degree or higher – 20%
Given their numbers in population – the fact that in all the negative indicators they are disproportionately affected more than any other race in this country – you have to wonder just why this is? The leading indicator for this is the fact they overwhelmingly vote for Democrats who will continue to provide their daily bread rather than vote for conservatives who will raise them up in society by making them better through education, independence, and self-responsibility. The Democrats have put the black population back in to bondage – effectively making them slaves and liberals as the slave owners.
Don’t buy in to the “social justice” rhetoric the Obama crowd is throwing around. They don’t care about justice – all they care about is making more people dependent on the government. The fact they extended unemployment benefit eligibility to a record breaking 20 weeks (that is almost 2 years) just goes to show where the government is headed. They do nothing to improve the economy and do everything to put more people on the welfare and unemployment benefit rolls. The initial intent and purpose of unemployment benefits were to be a temporary crutch with a specific deadline. It used to be 6 months. Now, you can go almost 2 years without ever having to work and still collect a paycheck. When it was 6 months there was true motivation to get out there and find a job or go back to school for retraining or a higher education. Now – there is absolutely no incentive. This is government backed dependency.
