A Fishing Statistic
My buddy, Buff, the Master Angler fisherman related a very significant fact to me yesterday. We were talking about our upcoming fishing trip to the northern part of Manitoba. He's a stickler for having everything in its proper order. There will be eight guys attending and our conversation got around to life jackets. I don't like them; much prefer to have a flotation device that I can sit on. He said it doesn't make that much difference. According to him, and I trust him completely on this, 90% of the men who drown while fishing are retrieved with their zippers down. In that case the women, I think, have the advantage. Thank God for empty Folger's coffee cans.
